Schnucks

Developing a Generation of Healthy Kids

Welcome! I’m glad you’re interested in visiting Schnucks for a field trip. My name is Kara and my job is to help kids learn more about the food they eat. At Schnucks, we believe that every kid in school deserves to learn the basics about food, where it comes from and how it affects their bodies, which is why our team of dietitians developed the Schnucks Healthy Kids Field Trip program. As a dietitian, I know it’s important to help kids develop healthy habits at a young age. We are excited to offer a field trip that is fun and engaging for kids as they explore the wonders of a supermarket, while also teaching important life skills that will help them develop healthier habits.

SchnucksWe are providing field trips to schools and local groups all over the St Louis metro area and a number of communities across Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin. From the farm, to the store, and onto your plate - food is so deliciously fun! Our trained tour guides will take you and your class on a food adventure throughout the store. Kids will explore the grocery aisles as they taste, touch and learn the ins-and-outs of how food comes from the farm to the store. The easy-to-understand nutrition messages help instill healthy habits and the in-store experiences are designed to equip young minds with the skills to make informed decisions. So what are you waiting for? Join us on this edible adventure by registering today!
