Lowes Foods - From the Field Trips

Make nutrition fun and meaningful with a visit to your local Lowes Foods store.

This field trip explores the benefits local foods have on the environment and for community members. Students determine how to make healthy eating choices and learn what foods are in season. They get excited to put these skills and information into practice within the store to become a smart shopper!

Hands-on activities reinforce how to create a balanced meal using MyPlate principles, think about portion size, and understand where our food is coming from.
