A Search for the Elements of Art!

Embark on a scavenger hunt for the six elements of art! Students exercise creativity and self-expression as they learn about shape, form, color, line, space and texture. These concepts come together when all elements are found and the children are rewarded with their very own Knack Sack. They will also:
- Develop an enhanced awareness of art
- Practice problem solving and teamwork
- Come to understand the evolution of art

Every Tour Stop Becomes a Teaching Moment
|
|
|
|
|
You and your group’s chaperones will lead this 60 minute, interactive tour. Age-appropriate activities and the scavenger hunt map have already been developed for you. By exploring everything from fine art to funky crafts, this Michaels trip will encourage right-brain thinking. One chaperone for every five students will be required.
