About the Host

Arthur Hannaford began selling fruits and vegetables from a produce cart in Portland, Maine, in 1883. Since then, Hannaford has grown to over 160 stores operating in New England and New York that give customers first-class service and quality products at fair prices. In caring for customer health, Hannaford developed Guiding Stars, an easy to use shelf tag nutrition navigation system, to assist customers in finding foods with higher nutritional value. Hannaford also donates over $4 million per year to charities and programs including Coats and Toys for Kids, March of Dimes, Breast Cancer Awareness, United Way, FoodPlay and WinterKids.
