"The students really enjoyed this trip and they learned a lot about food and nutrition as well. Their favourite part was when they had to pick out a produce item that was the same colour as their shirts. Our leader was wonderful. Very informative and a great morning!"

"The kids really enjoyed visiting the different areas and sampling the food. A big hit was watching and sampling the fresh orange juice from the machine. They loved watching the crab and smelling the fresh aroma as the bagels came out of the oven. Having a colorful, tasty snack just topped off a most enjoyable time."

Tobye S, Baycrest School

"Good hands on for the kids (identify the fruit/vegetable in the bag) and some great visuals (sugar in pop). There were great connections to the classroom curriculum so kids could see how nutrition in the classroom is something to consider in your daily life."

Terry M, St. Thomas More Catholic School

"The kids loved to be sent to shelves to select samples for the group. They were really excited to see the live lobster at the seafood counter. The sales assistant even showed them how to handle and calm the lobster."

Crystal Hua, Ryerson Community School
